Our History

Mara Basin Conservation Forum (MBCF) was registered in Kenya in 2016 by the Government of Kenya to promote environmental conservation and improve food security. MBCF, initially operating in Kilgoris Town as a Community-Based Organization, has continuously harnessed the efforts and expertise of community groups and partners in running its activities as a way of promoting public participation at the grassroots and thereby creating a platform for community groups to be heard, appreciated and engaged.
